A lot of the tourists are leaving the region, the air is getting fresh, fall colours are painting woods and mountains, trouts and other predators are active all day long, it’s a great time for fishing!
Many parts of our rivers and streams are open to fly and spin fishing ( no kill only, one barbless hook ) and you can find a lot of hungry trouts, both marble and brown, and also beautiful graylings.
October is also a very good month for pike and perch in lakes, with big chubs and the last black bass of the season.
